PainBlocker™

The PainBlocker™ is a cryoanalgesia system using the cryogenic properties of Nitrous Oxide (N2O) or Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in conjunction with the Joule-Thomson effect to create subzero temperatures which ablate nerves. The extent of injury is influenced by closeness of the freezing probe to the targeted nerve and increasing time (1-3 minutes range). Typical temperatures are -55 degrees for CO2 and -70 degrees for N2O (centigrade). Features: Regulator knob, Gauges to indicate gas pressures, Built in nerve stimulator, Operated by footswitch.
